How to measure your doors
Guide for measuring your doors
- Measure the structural opening (usually brick-to-brick from outside) in millimetres. Measure width in several places and use the smallest reading minus ~10 mm unless your fitter advises otherwise.
- Measure height in several places from where the frame will sit (including cill if supplied in your overall size). Use the smallest height minus ~10 mm where appropriate.
Please note: Rendered reveals may hide brick edges; chip back if needed to measure accurately. If in doubt, ask a professional installer.
