These terms apply to the use of https://newellgl.co.uk/ and to orders placed with Newell Glass & Locks Ltd.

1. About Us

This website is operated by Newell Glass & Locks Ltd. Our main office location is 17 North Parade, Mollison Way, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 5QH. You can contact us by phone on +44 20 8952 1634 or by email at info@newellgl.co.uk.

2. Use of This Website

By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse the contact forms, ordering tools, pricing tools, images, content, or any system made available through the website. Website content is provided for general information and ordering support and may be updated without notice.

3. Orders and Contract Formation

An order submitted through the website is an offer to purchase the goods and services selected by you. A binding contract is formed only when Newell Glass & Locks Ltd accepts your order and confirms it in writing. We may contact you to clarify dimensions, specifications, access, delivery, installation requirements, or any other matter before accepting or processing an order.

4. Measurements, Specifications, and Online Pricing

You are responsible for ensuring that the sizes, designs, colours, glass options, hardware, installation details, and other specifications you provide are accurate. Website prices are calculated from the information entered or selected by you. Final pricing may change after site verification, survey, or review of the actual installation conditions. Any additional work, materials, delivery, access, or installation charges required must be paid before production, delivery, or installation, as applicable.

5. Product Descriptions and Images

We make reasonable efforts to display product information, colours, glass designs, and images accurately. Actual products may vary because of screen display settings, manufacturing tolerances, supplier differences, chosen specifications, and the bespoke nature of many products.

6. Prices, VAT, and Payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include or display VAT as stated at checkout. Prices may change at any time before an order is accepted. Payment must be made using the payment methods made available on the website or otherwise agreed by us. Card and online payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

7. Delivery and Collection

Estimated delivery and collection dates are provided as guidance only and may change due to production, supplier, access, transport, weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. You must provide a correct delivery address and ensure suitable access. Additional charges may apply for failed delivery, redelivery, incorrect address details, access issues, or special delivery requirements.

8. Installation

Where installation is agreed, our separate Installation Terms & Conditions also apply. You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access and for communicating any special requirements before work begins.

9. Returns and Cancellations

Many windows, doors, glass units, and configured items are bespoke and made to your measurements or selections. Bespoke goods cannot usually be returned because you change your mind or supplied incorrect information. Please see our Returns Policy for more detail.

10. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

You must inspect goods on delivery or collection and tell us as soon as reasonably possible if anything appears damaged, faulty, or incorrect. Do not install goods that appear incorrect or defective without contacting us first. We may ask to inspect the goods before deciding whether repair, replacement, or refund is appropriate.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, Newell Glass & Locks Ltd will not be responsible for indirect losses, consequential losses, or costs caused by incorrect information supplied by you, failure to inspect goods before installation, unsuitable installation conditions, or matters outside our reasonable control.

12. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
